Client Profile: 

Our client leads their industry in the design and construction of internationally recognized specialty process equipment. Due to an increase in demand, they immediately require an electrical engineer join their team and assume responsibility for a number of projects.  They offer a collaborative team environment where staff multi-tasks and individuals assume a hands on, creative approach to a wide variety of challenging work.

This position will be of interest to technically sound individuals who are results oriented, who thrive on team and client interaction, and who gain satisfaction through concept to completion involvement in providing client solutions.  Our client offers a long-term career track in which this individual will be mentored to eventually assume the lead electrical engineering role for the organization.

Our client requires a talented individual with:

· an electrical engineering degree with P. Eng or eligibility

· minimum 5 – 10 years experience in process control engineering

· experience with P&ID’s, and  preparing interface I / O lists from P&ID’s

· experience with PLC controllers, preparation of  I / O wiring diagrams

· experience with Autocad in preparation of electrical drawings, control cabinet / panel layout drawing

· Eplan design package familiarity preferred

· ability to prepare online diagrams

· experience with bill of materials (electrical) preparation, electrical component purchasing

· experience with wiring supervision, supervision of testing proceedures

· a hands on mechanical aptitude, participation in on site installation / commissioning

· strong analytical abilities, investigation and solution provision skills

· experience with Access and Excel

· excellent verbal and written communication skills / people skills
